Erick Sile is a regional technical advisor for the UNCDF (United Nations Capital Development Fund) where he promotes inclusive finance and investments to finance institutions in West and Southern Africa. His experience in inclusive finance goes back to his time at the WOCCU (World Council of Credit Unions) where he spent 8 years as a project manager in Kenya and Rwanda and as Africa programmes director. He was also a senior consultant for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, LLP, in Atlanta, United States.

Erick has in-depth field experience of cooperative financial institutions in many African countries. He has contributed to the setup of IT systems, the development of new strategies, the revision and replacement of accounting systems, the development of new savings and credit products and setting up credit and recovery policies in several institutions in Africa.

Erick has an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in the United States.
