Celebrating 15 years of Sustainable Microfinance!
We’d like to thank a number of organizations that have helped in the realization of our activities and the strengthening of our Institute these past 15 years. They have sent their staff to share their experiences and knowledge as faculty, have sponsored large numbers of participants, and have offered their wisdom to develop our institution. We would especially like to thank Omidyar Network for supporting our vision of creating a vibrant community to advance the microfinance industry.
In these 15 years we have seen how our institution, as well as the industry to which we offer our executive training, have grown and become stronger. Together we have created courses that respond to the needs of a growing industry while at the same time maintaining a strong focus on the fundamentals that are needed to serve the 2 billion poor families who do not have access to financial services that serve their needs.
Our sustained growth through these past 15 years motivates us to continue providing our participants with the most useful tools, best practices, and innovative ideas to continue developing leadership in this industry that has become a major actor in the world’s struggle against poverty.
At present, we have three world-renowned microfinance training programs, imparted in English, French, and Spanish. This has allowed us to continue to grow to a point where we have now reached more than 3,000 key participants representing more than 140 countries around the world.
