All participants are enrolled in the core course, taught by program director Robert Peck Christen. Participants take the Core Course and one Elective in the morning. The core course provides a forum for discussion and the opportunity to meet as a whole community. It stimulates debate through key topics such as the trade-off between financial sustainability and outreach, the commercialization of microfinance, regulation and supervision, and evolving trends in product design.
