Description

Howard Brady has helped MFIs understand their costs and the impact of their decisions since 1994. He has advised institutions all over the world, but with special emphasis on Latin America.

His consulting work includes areas such as internal control, internal and external audit, and models for activity-based costing, business planning and implementation of Microfin. He has taught in the IDB's Forum, in the Microcredit Summits and in Microfin courses.

Howard created a $1 million debt fund (fully invested) in 2007 and consults with MFIs world-wide.  He worked  for Unitus between 2003 and 2007, as an independent consultant between 2001 and 2003, for Global Partnerships between 1994 and 2001 and for various public accounting firms from 1989 and 1995. He lives with his family in Seattle, Washington, USA.
