Cheryl Frankiewicz has been working in microfinance for thirteen years, eight of which have been spent living in Tanzania, Indonesia, Peru and Bolivia, where she helped to launch the Microenterprise Policy Institute in 1997.
She is the co-author of “Making Microfinance Work: Managing for Improved Performance” and has produced toolkits and papers in a variety of other areas including product marketing, customer service, organizational development, transitions to private capital, and governance. She is a MicroSave-certified service provider in several of these areas as well as in process mapping and market research for microfinance. She holds an M.I.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa.
