Description

Lorna Grace has focused on financial management and capacity building of microfinance institutions worldwide. In 1992 she started her microfinance career with Calmeadow Foundation and has worked (as an independent consultant) in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin America with primary clients of World Bank, DFID, NOVIB, CIDA, Ford Foundation and CGAP.

Ms. Grace has a BA from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to working in the microfinance industry, she worked as a financial analyst with one of Canada's top investment banks. She is a co-author of CGAP's product costing tool and has implemented ABC in several financial institutions including banks and MFIs. She is currently working on a USAID funded agriculture/rural finance project in Honduras, with Fintrac Ltd, a worldwide leader in the provision technical assistance to agribusiness.
