Boulder Institute of Microfinance

Janis Sabetta is a microfinance consultant and works primarily in capacity building endeavors for practitioners, donors and consultants. She provides microfinance training and technical assistance in the following topics: accounting and financial analysis, delinquency management and setting interest rates, business planning, internal control and fraud prevention, Information systems, human resource development and Product development.

She has spent considerable time in the design of training materials and the training of trainers to deliver these courses in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Janis has spent the last year in Indonesia with GTZ and MICRA (an Indonesian partner) to research and create a series of courses in Islamic Banking and microfinance. She has worked worldwide in international development for over 20 years.
