Delores McLaughlin is a Senior Policy Advisor for Household Economic Security at Plan International. Delores has more than 30 years experience in social and economic development programs and began promoting sustainable financial services with a strong poverty focus and social impact in 1994.

She has provided technical support to a range of institutions in many countries regarding design and implementation of Microfinance ‘Plus’ strategies. Microfinance ‘Plus’ is a key strategy for Plan and they are promoting the approach in Latin America and Asia with a goal to scale up outreach to 1.5 million people in these two regions over the next five years.
