Independent Consultant
Rochus Mommartz, economist, has been working in the field of microfinance for 15 years. He started as a consultant for IPC, specialising in MFI management and financial sector regulation. Later on, as an independent consultant, he carried out numerous short time missions for different donor agencies. Currently he supports institutions from the IMI network in Latin America on subjects like risk management and ABC-systems. He also does advise the investment committee of the responsability microfinance fund, Switzerland.
Rochus is currently assisting private investors set up Greenfield MFIs in Asia and Africa
