The Boulder Institute for Microfinance is a nonprofit organization, founded to create a platform for dialogue and critical thinking in microfinance. Building on the foundation of the Boulder Microfinance Training program, it aims to extend the same spirit of learning into a broad range of programs.
Our approach is global and pluralistic, and our strength is the capacity to project the voices of leaders, to bring together people who are breaking new ground, and to enable exchange of ideas between them.
Boulder Institute initiatives aim to transform, not only to inform. Participants in our programs become resolved to implement change, through a period of learning, debate and exchange with others who have been or are in the same process.
