Boulder Institute of Microfinance Team

Boulder Institute of Microfinance team cultivates a platform for dialogue and critical thinking in microfinance. Our staff comes from a diverse range of backgrounds and is spread out over 3 continents with core operations based in Syracuse, New York and Santiago, Chile.

From Mexico City, Robert Peck Christen (President and Founder) ensures the continuity of the strategic vision of the Institute and oversees new program development in coordination with Nataša Goronja (Vice President of Programs), based in Washington, D.C. They work closely with staff in Syracuse, New York, including Carrie Hollis (Accounting Manager), Kira Krown (Training Manager), Gabriela Christen (Program Coordinator) and Karen Carrau (Office Manager).

In Santiago, Consuelo Muñoz Araya (Vice President of Development) directs the program teams who are responsible for developing communication strategies, coordinating logistics and participants, assisting faculty, and overseeing back office systems. Members of the team include Rosa Moreno (Director of Monitoring and Information Systems), Rodrigo Caquisani (Participant and Scholarship Manager), Camille Malherbet (Program Manager), Diego Panza (Operations Support), Macarena Moyano (Graphic Designer), Felipe Salinas Kraljevic (Videographer / Photographer), Daniela Gamboa (Consultant) and Marcela Medina (Office Manager).

Additional support around the globe comes from Shawn Roseman (Senior Program Manager) based in Seattle, Washington and Ignacio Olafa (Program Manager) based in Cotonou, Benin.
