Thierry Rajaona is the founding partner-manager of the FTHM Conseils group specializing in advice on strategy and organization, financial engineering, human resources, outsourcing, economic studies and assistance with contracting. He has nearly 25 years of professional experience, five of them in the financial and banking sector and as an advisor to financial institutions in France.
He started his career as a financial analyst at Natixis Bank (formerly Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires) before joining the firm Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting, Paris) where he became senior organization consultant in its banking/insurance division. On returning to Madagascar, he was offered the post of Inspector General and then Secretary General at CORALMA Madagascar, a member of the Bolloré Technologies group. In 1997, he joined the privatization committee as Technical Privatization Secretary. In 1998, he joined FTHM whose members are QUALEX (accounting appraisals), EQUATION (advice on human resources and the outsourcing of payroll mechanisms) and FTHM Conseils (advice on strategy and management). In that capacity, he undertook numerous missions to banking and microfinance establishments in the Indian Ocean sub-region in the spheres of technical assistance and training.
Since 2015, he has also taught International Finance at HEC-Executive Education (CESA).
Thierry Rajaona holds the diploma of the HEC Business School in Paris, a master’s degree in international law from the University of Paris II and a diploma in advanced studies specializing in the management of financial and banking institutions from the University of Paris-Dauphine.
