Boulder Institute of Microfinance

Natasa Goronja is the Vice President of Programs at Boulder Institute of Microfinance, where she oversees training content and new program development.

Previously, she served as Operations Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), coordinating advisory activities in the area of microfinance in Eastern Europe and Central Asia with a focus on transforming MFIs into commercial banks and leading the work in the region on responsible finance. In particular, Natasa managed a project in Bosnia and Herzegovina addressing over-indebtedness and established a mainstream debt counseling service. Prior to joining the IFC, Natasa spent two years in Southeast Asia with MICRA, a local training, rating and consulting company. Before MICRA, she worked with CGAP in Washington (2001 - 2007.) She has been on the faculty of the Boulder Microfinance Training Program since 2001, and has delivered a number of microfinance training courses for funders with CGAP, the World Bank, IMF, UNCDF and others.
